May 21, 2026: Connected Sources

Connect your cloud storage directly to Spaces You can now connect Google Drive, OneDrive, or SharePoint folders to any Space. Omnifact automatically indexes the content and keeps it up to date — no more manual file uploads to keep your AI assistant current.

What’s new

  • Cloud storage connections: Link Google Drive, OneDrive, OneDrive Business, or SharePoint to a Space with a single authorization.
  • Automatic syncing: Omnifact continuously monitors connected folders for changes, new files, and deletions.
  • Source citations: Chat answers now show the original file name, provider icon, and a direct link back to the source file in your cloud storage.
  • Space Details visibility: All Space members can see which cloud sources are connected in the sidebar.

How to get started

  1. Organization admins: Enable the cloud storage providers you want to allow in Team Settings > Integrations.
  2. Space admins: Go to Space Settings > Connected Sources and click Connect Source.
  3. Authorize access, select your folders, and Omnifact handles the rest.
Your original files stay in their home system — Omnifact indexes them for search and retrieval without copying or moving your data. Read the full documentation →
